LifeServe Blood Center is asking community members to show their support for local heroes this Memorial Day weekend!
Our Military Appreciation Blood Drive aims to honor active duty military as well as veterans while providing much needed blood donations to community hospitals. The need for blood donations increases during the summer, but unfortunately vacations and outdoor activities cause a decrease in donations.
The Military Appreciation Blood Drive will take place in at LifeServe Blood Center Donor Centers in Ames, Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Marshalltown, Mason City, Sioux City, and Urbandale.
Donors who roll up a sleeve to give the gift of life and show their support will be eligible to order a limited edition t-shirt from the LifeServe online store for just 200 points! Donors earn online store points with very donation.
