Blank Ammunition for Honor Guards

To obtain the needed blank ammunition for your Honor Guard, call the Rock Island Arsenal (Dawn Folland) at (877) 233-2515.  Phone requests must be made by the Post Adjutant or Post Commander.  Ammunition will be shipped directly to the address provided by the Post officer via UPS, absolutely free.

Honor Guard Reimbursement

Beginning in November of 2007, the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund became available to assist veterans. The Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs and the Iowa Commission of Veterans Affairs are responsible for the disbursement of funds.  One program available through the Trust Fund is for the reimbursement of veterans organizations for providing military funeral honors.  Applications for reimbursement must be received by June 25.
